The Most Compelling Biography Ever Written

will be the definitive biography of Donald J. Trump. What a treasure trove of stories and information that book will contain.
Rarely does a great biography come out during the lifetime of the subject because it takes time for extensive research material to be developed. The best versions will probably be written decades from now by the next generation of David McCullough's and T. Harry William's.
I look forward to reading such a book and hope I am around to see it.

Agree. I'll sidetrack a bit since your title is worthy of discussion.
Empire: The Legend and Madness of Howard Hughes
- Hughes has always fascinated me. He was the literal Dos Equis "Most Interesting Man in the World"
Where Men Win Glory - Pat Tillman biography by Jon Krakauer is also great

I agree. Some distance in time will be needed to avoid either an ideological takedown or a fanboy wankfest.
Like it or not, Trump was (and will remain for at least a little while) a major force in American politics at a critical time in the nation's history.
In some ways, he is like Jackson- a force of will that descended on the nation and answered the prayers of some while creating outrage in others.
A Trump biography, combined with his longterm political effect on the nation, will be awesome if done with perspective and at least an attempt at objectivity.
Unrelated, but if you like autobiographies, Timothy Leary's Flashbacks is very compelling

While I agree... I just don’t know who would give an honest portrayal of the man

quote:There are certainly a lot of similarities between Trump and Jackson with both being brash populists. I don’t think you’ll see a good unbiased account of Trump and his administration until probably 20 years down the road, a good bit removed from his presidency and even death if we are being honest.

Would rather an autobiography

This will likely get flak, but my interest is piqued for Obama’s upcoming first volume memoir on his early career and first presidential term. It’ll be interesting to read some of the internal stories that led to major moments in recent history from a former President who’s well known as a great orator and writer.

Judging by the first released excerpt... it’ll be some woke delusional bullshite

There will be so many books written about the four year Trump Presidency that’ll be fascinating for historians in the following decades. It’s definitely something I’d pick up on release day.

800 pages and it's volume 1...
I don't think anyone in history has written more about themself than Obama. He's already written several memoirs. But only Trump is a narcissist.

quote:Listen, I’ve read some books. Let me tell ya. I’ve read more books than... I’ll just say it, a lot of you out there. They’re good, they’re real good and it..... but look, my point is the books that I read aren’t as good as the ones I could write. People come up to me, they say “you could write books” and they’re right. They’re absolutely right.
But only Trump is a narcissist.

I read a different biography of Hughes but, yeah, he was interesting to put it lightly. My favorite biography to this point. Irving Stones' The Agony and the Ecstasy, while not a biography, was a great book about Michaelangelo.

Teddy Roosevelt and Winston Churchill were extremely interesting people.

Honestly, he's neither of these. If the MSM were less biased in his favor, we would have far fewer people who believed this.
