I've never done audiobooks. I don't really have the kind of life where I'd be able to sit for that long without drifting off.

I can't do audiobooks simply because the reading speed of the narrator is just way too slow compared to my own reading speed, and I wind up just zoning out and barely hearing what's being spoken.

You can speed up the narration.

I don't usually do audio books but I'd like to hear Gray doing this. I can't find a clip on Youtube.

I started Dungeon Crawler Carl about 2 weeks ago and just started book 3 last night. Doing the audible version. Holy shite - what a fun ride. The epilogue of book 2 really pissed me off regarding the celestial boxes lol.

I finished book 3 today. The epilogue for book 3 is pretty excellent. Excellent brain dead entertainment for 8 hour car rides.

I’m curious of people that enjoyed book 3 reading vs audiobook.

It was a tough read. Didn’t make me quit and there was some good stuff in there (Helka v Katia) but it was a slog to get through.

ETA. I’m up to date and read all 7. By far my favorite series in a long time. I just struggled conceptually with reading book 3.

i listened to the audio book for book 3 and thought the same thing listening. The trains and portals were sometimes complicated to follow, but still overall a great listen.

Book 3 was bit tough with the noodle, but I just kinda ignored and kept on going. Very enjoyable. Finished book 3 yesterday and already jumped into book 4.
