If I wasn’t waiting for the audible, I would be scouring every bookstore in Chicago looking for it. I alternate between kindle and audible when I read this and opening the loot won from the previous book is one of my favorite parts to listen to.

Just got through Samantha's summary of what happened in the last book. Hmmmm, I dont remember any of that. I need to find a good recap online.

Two Grim Oak paperbacks don't ship til mid June according to Shawn. Got to finish up my 2 sets of OG paperbacks since they are worth a small fortune. Hoping to get them signed by Jeff and Matt like my other 7 at Dcon this year.
Personalized first edition hard back from Signed Page ships this weekend according to Shawn.
Pick up 2 signed at Nashville tour stop, don't think I am getting them personalized, plan on getting something else signed instead. Probably the jug o boom dice tower I been designing to sell on Etsy. Should sell well considering how well the TTRPG did on backerkit.
I read it awhile ago through the Patreon though and a good way into listening to it. Jeff is the best.

Downloaded it yesterday and I’m about 75% through it now.
It has been one of the better books, which tracks with the reviews so far.

Started reading last night. Got 40 pages in maybe. While reading I was thinking about how funny the intro with Samantha would be on audible. Glad I've listened to some so those voices are in my head now when I read.

I just got an email from audible that there is an update to book 8 and I should delete and redownload
Has anyone gotten to the last chapter? Is there an issue with it?
Pretty sure it is not an audible edit because both penguin and audible only have publishing rights and do not edit at all

I'm reading the hard copy. After I read the final chapter, I will compare it to the audiobook, re-download and see what changed

I'm 75 pages in, just starting heat 2, and man I love the race aspect. I got a feeling this is going to be my favorite floor/challenge yet. Not saying it's going to be the best book but I like the race aspect of it.

The oddball NPC teams are great, such as the unicorn and the rodent riding the tumbleweed that are depicted on the PDF cover shot.

Yeah the themed floors are awesome. The Scolopendra levels are fun, but the themed levels have always been more enjoyable to me. Boop

I’m right at 50%. Really loving it and trying not to rush through it.
