Just finished with the reread of Sansa's escape and the end with Petyr; I'm a dude and that just creeped me the frick out. I know more than likely he's going to be part of the end game, but man I wish he'd hurry up and die.
I hate Lord Twatbeard (as Bronn referred to him in S3E3) too. He's such a creep, and I don't want my Lemoncake to be raped or harmed by him.

Lord twat beard? Are we talking about LF?

Found this podcast episode, from The Nerdist. It's a private interview with George during SDCC13 in his suite. Best interview I've listen too, and I think some of y'all need to listen to it. He talks about more than ASoIaF, so you've been warned. Still a great interview. LINK

Yeah. On my series rewatch efforts I noticed Bronn calls Littlefinger "Lord Twatbeard" in S3E3, and the name sticks. Very accurate nickname for Littlefinger.

He talks about some of the first conventions for comics and sci-fi. Talked about his Wild Cards series of the 80s. Working for television. But the part I meant by "some of y'all should listen,":
He talks about how people fans think that he just sits around doing nothing. But everyday he is writing. Says, sometimes he does hit walls but for the most part he is writing. He also said that everytime a publisher reprints, or does anything with his works, that he HAS to do what they want him to do. That the minute that he finishes a North American book tour, England and Europe is calling to tell him to get his arse across the Atlantic now. He does read, pretty much, every piece of mail that he receives. (Though mostly on the days where he has hit that wall.) He also has a back log of fan mail.
A lot of other interesting stuff about, becoming writer, Hollywood, adaptations of other media to film or TV. Talks about his D&D days. That's really all I got. I would still listen to it, but if you don't have time to, listen to a little bit at a time.

Ha. Cute. I always referred to him as LLF - Little Lord Fauntleroy.

Appreciate it. Yea I'll try and give it a listen when I have some time to burn.
I'm not a fan that gets pissed and thinks he sits around doing nothing all day. His series is amazingly special so I have no problem waiting for him to pen the novels how he sees fit

Yeah, he actually says he gets more "take your time as long as it's good," more than the "HURRY THE frick UP!"

I'm all about GRRM not rushing and maintaining the same level of quality...but having to wait 3 more years for TWoW would be excruciating

I'm of the opinion that the longer he takes the shittier its going to be. Thats been the trend so far.
And my reasoning is that hes not sitting around trying to figure out how hes gonna end the series. Hes known that since at least 2000. So instead of having characters move toward their conclusion we get POVs like Dany shite fricking around in Mereen for the entirety of book 5, unnecessary additional POVs like Areo Hotah, and yet more additional POVs like the Greyjoys.
It just seems like every major character has been in a holding pattern since book 3, and I think its because GRRM is taking too much time to bust out the end game.
Hes added more POVs to give the illusion of progress, but every POV character that was present in book 3 is basically in the same position they were in or heading towards since the conclusion of that book- Jon still at the wall, Arya still in Bravos, Sansa still in the Vale, Bran still north of the wall, Dany still in the fricking slave cities, etc.
tl;dr the more time GRRM spends the more I'm concerned that hes not moving characters towards their conclusion and is instead keeping them in their holding patterns.

Honestly, I don't know what the frick he's been thinking regarding the writing of the Iron Islands and Dorne. We should just have two added POVs from here: Arianne and Asha. Really just add Brienne, Cersei, and Barristan, and those are the only really necessary added POV characters from Book 3 onward. I see no value in Victarion's POV yet, and certainly not Aeron's. I think even GRRM said he fricked up by giving Arys Oakheart a POV chapter.

The more I think about it more I tend to believe that aegon is in fact faegon. Not Faegon in terms of being a blackfyre but in terms of not being the original Aegon. The wilding prince mother died during childbirth, the supposed theory behind Lyannas death is that Lyanna died during child birth as well. Jon switched The wilding prince with Gilly’s son. This gives me the idea that this has happened before. Operating under the theory that Ashara is jon mother could she have given Jon to Ned in Exchange for Aegon If you believe in the theory that Ashara Dayne is Septa Lemore. It would certainly connect dots. Ashara was a hand maid of Elia and if anyone were to believe to have any legitimacy of having rescued the supposed prince it would be her. Tyrion’s guess at Aegons age is 15 or 16 which would be about a year off of the age the original would have been . no one would accept an illegitimate prince however a dead one was not dead like thought it would be more accepted
There are several holes in the theory however
