That would be my guess.

It would have been kind of interesting if Quentyn had successfully hooked up Danny and Arianne hooked up with Aegon to see what would happen if those two went at it.
More diversions in a series that already has a ton of course. But interesting to some extent.

It still hurts even reading a recap of it. No matter how many times I read that chapter I keep expecting things to go differently and they never do and they never will.

Spot on as to my reaction.

is it weird that i had a dream about episode 9 last night
of course everything was off immediately, because iwas in the episode and it occurred in my high school cafeteria
but for some reason roose didnt kill robb
in fact robb didnt die at all
he killed walder frey
then we all got our bags of milk and went to recess
i think i watch/read/post too much ASOIAF

Same here. Amazing I have read that chapter countless times and even reading a recap gives me the chills. Nothing like rereading something over and over and hoping it turns out differently each time.

i just shake my head everytime i read something foreshadowing to it, and then shake my head for the entire chapter

Yeah the foreshadowing is all over the place. I was freaking pissed on my first re-read that I missed it and was so blindsided. The only one I have been completely prepared for was Jon and that was somewhat different as I immediately expected it to not be the end of his story.

House Crackpot:
colors: what else? it's TD.com anyway, with a smidge of "Night's Watch black", cuz our watch began a long time ago...
sigil: a black pot,cracking under the strain of its contents - truth, its light bright and golden, shining through the stress points and reaching out in all directions;
underneath
the sacred written word- (that which is seen by all (highest point on the field)yet remains a mystery to/ ignored by many (the color black)and fully comprehended and revered by few (gold color traces) in an open position, allowing the shining light of truth to bathe its blank pages; enticing the pen to the paper...
with the void of eternity between the two.
House Words:
"sumus filum aeternitati" (in Latin - our version of Valyrian, "We are the thread, eternal")
unofficial motto:?
"reading is fundamental" ?

I literally threw the book across the room. True story - My Great Dane, Rhayne, just gave me a WTF look, and went back to sleep.

Legit.
Was looking for something to read this summer. Any suggestions? May just reread the series.

I've heard Joe Abercrombie's First Law Trilogy is quite good, especially for fans of ASOIAF. I would start reading it this summer if I wasn't already working through a re-read.

Crackpot Theory:
Ashara Dayne is still alive and married to Howland Reed. Meera (who he conceived during Robert's Rebellion) and Jojen Reed are their children.

Yeah, Joe Abercrombie's First Law trilogy and the following three stand alones in the same world would be my first suggestion for fans of ASOIAF looking for something new.
Scott Lynch's Lies of Locke Lamora would be another.
