Its not gonna happen but Robb coming back as a half wolf monster might be the most badass thing ever.

"When the sun rises in the West and sets in the East, when the seas run dry and the mountains blow in the wind like leaves, when you womb quickens again and you bear a living child, then he will return and not before."
I think this is the biggest prophecy in the book. What do you think it means?

Dany will sail around the world by going East and landing in the West, probably near Lannisport and Casterly Rock. The Mountain will be chopped to bits and flung through the air in a blizzard. There may also be some kind of rockslide. Dany will have a son by a new father (who knows at this point), and then Khal Drogo will rise from the ashes as the most badass Azor Ahai ever.

Hey Hugo, can you add my boy Donal Noye to the "good" list? He was always one of my favorite characters that doesn't seem to get enough love.
Also, where do we think Bowen Marsh goes?? I think he's pretty complicated.
Him supporting Slynt for LC was bad, but he really seemed to have legitimate reasons at least. And he was helpful to Jon after his election.
He just truly didn't believe that Jon was doing the right thing, and tried everything to make Jon see the dangers in bringing the wildlings in, although I think he was wrong.
Hell, even as he stabbed him, he was crying saying "For the Watch."
I really think he is trying to do what he thinks is right for the good of the Watch and the realm.
And you have to admit, Jon's plan to march on Winterfell was pretty radical as LC.
Any thoughts?

quote:
The Noble and Puissant Order of the Warrior's Sons are an order of Knights sworn to the Faith of the Seven. They are part of the Faith Militant which are known as the Swords and Stars. They only answer and obey the High Septon and him alone as they believe the High Septon speaks for the Seven on the world.
Only an anointed Knight can join this order. Most of the Warrior's Sons are comprised of former hedge and household Knights but some are of higher birth such as older lords who wish to atone for there old sins or younger sons. Some Lords even renounce titles, castles and lands to serve the Warrior's Sons and the Seven. The Warrior's Sons duties are often to protect Holy Septs or to escort the devout safely across the land protecting them from brigands and the unfaithful.
They wear inlaid silver armor over hair shirts, rainbow cloaks, and swords with star-shaped crystals in their pommels. They developed a reputation for fanaticism and implacable hatred for enemies of the Faith, they see any who worship other gods as false and evil. They are said to have been holy men, ascetics, sorcerers, dragonslayers and demonhunters.[1]
The order has not existed in the realm since Jaehaerys I, however after War of the Five Kings in 300 AL the ruling King Tommen Baratheon under the edict of his mother and Regent Cersei Lannister overturned Maegors law which forbade Holy men from being armed and the order was reborn.
Over a hundred knights have so far pledged their swords and lives to the Warrior's Sons and obey the new High Septon known by many as the High Sparrow.
It will be interesting to see where they go with the militant religious folk.

I never really took it as a prophecy as much as MMD telling her he'll never be back.

I tried to stick to story essential characters.

I am not sure if the prophecy is jsut saying Dany will never bear children but I'll give it a shot.
Patchface often refers to death as "under the sea" in his prophecies this could refer to when the Others are defeated or possibly when the Greyjoys are put down.
This could refer to TPTWP. Maybe something happens at Eastwatch. This could be any number of things.
Immediately made me think of the doom of valyria and volcanoes. Could refer to frankengregor.
Thats all I got. I am sure Hugo and OM and others will have better insight.

Yeah I here ya.
Noye definitely isn't, but Marsh could definitely have an expanded role going forward.
I'd say he's around the level of Illyn Payne at this point.

The sun is the symbol of House Martel so its been theorized that Quentyn travelling from Dorne to Mereen just to die fulfilled this part. I've read theories on the rest but they're all a little shaky.

i thought this might be a reference to quentyn martell
his family's symbol is the sun, he rose from the west and went East for Dany, where he died (set?)

The Seven must be shitty gods. They are the one religion that doesn't seem to have any "magical" powers.

R'hllor and the old gods seem to be at odds with The Great Other and the Storm God/Drowned God
the seven are are like mormonism
the citadel is at odds with all of them
it could all be differing representations of blood magic though. people assign their own significance to it
