Also what would yall's top 5 chapters be on the whole series. On the top of my head, these would be it in no specific order:
Mine would be pretty similar to yours:
1. Tyrion: The Mountain vs The Red Viper-Tops for me without a doubt.
2. Dany: Purchases the slaves then burns the hell out of the slavers and takes over.
3. Tyrion: Tyrion kills Tywin
4. Jon: The defense of the wall from the Magnar up until Ygritte's death.
5. Arya: The Weasel Soup and ghost in Harrenhal chapter.
Honorable mentions: Theon: Ghost of Winterfell, Prologues of AGOT and ASOS, Strong Belwas kills the dude in ASOS and craps on him, Davos on the boats during the Battle of Blackwater when the boat explodes and the chain comes up, Littlefinger throws Lysa to her death and we figure out he started everything by killing Arryn.

Just curious, what are your 5 favorite centric chapters. They don't necessarily have to be your favorite character, but just a character that when you turn the page and see they're the next centric character, you get excited over it. Here are mine:
Mine are:
1. Arya
2. Tyrion
3. Jon
4. Theon
5. Jaime
Though Davos would be the one I'm most interested in seeing the next book.

Does anyone think they may just tell his story in flashbacks, since I see the only way Theon gets out of his current debacle with Stannis is that Davos rides up with Rickon Stark right as he's about to be executed.

I agree with these although I'd really really really like to fit in Selmy abducting Hizdahr.

Yeah, definitely my favorite as well, and I've just come to the conclusion that the show has almost no way of living up to the book in this regard. I felt sure that the Red Viper would kill the Mountain, and then he and Tyrion would go back to Dorne and raise the banners for Myrcella being the new Queen. Then he just died when he had the Mountain. First time I've ever screamed at a book.

I was sick to my stomach. I have never been on the edge of my seat for a book like that before. I was reading it during a break between classes, and I was so enthralled that I just skipped Physics. When RV gets his face smashed in, I just put the book down. I felt so much for such a short-tenured character. I was emotionally deflated for the rest of the day.

Makes up for it. That and having Arya not dead from the Hound.

My dad only watches the series and I am legitimately concerned for his health when he watches the RW scene for the first time

I asked him if he flipped through to see her next chapter and he said "who didn't?"

I was ready to burn the book and never read another printed word.

Yeah, that was another awesome one that I forgot to put in the mentions, along with the Ned chapter at the Hand's tourney.

Nah, I see Bran Stark speaking through either the Heart tree or ravens and telling everyone he's still alive and Theon didn't kill any Stark children.
Based on the setup in the Theon preview chapter Martin released for the next book, his sister is just way too insistent about Theon getting killed at the tree, and Bran is speaking through the ravens during the end of chapter IMO.
Davos's trip to Skagos being told in flashbacks would kinda go against Martin's MO for the series so far really, but I suppose it's possible.

Haven't thought about that, but would Stannis really believe what he was hearing and would the Northmen still even consider sparing Theon after all he's done?
