Very few know that selling a high number of items at a lower price can make you more money than selling a few at a high price.

You're talking revenue not margin. Volume can make more revenue but at a lower margin. The key is to find the sweet spot where margin/profit is maximized. A business can "make" all the money they want but if the margin is too low to keep up with operating expenses or breaking even what good is it doing?
