It’s as simple as this. Younger guy took his spot. Asked to get cut, got cut. Signed with another team.

I mean Saints signed Peterson telling him he'd get snaps. Reality was, he wasn't getting it in this system and Kamara showed more promise. What did Saints do, trade him to an organization where he could get those snaps and play like he wanted. Sometimes its about taking care of the player you have respect for
