On this week’s episode of The Marchand and Ourand Sports Media podcast, Andrew Marchand of the New York Post revealed that Tony Romo needs to be better prepared before each assignment. So much so, that CBS tried to have an intervention to get him back on track...
quote:

“Tony Romo needs to study more,” Marchand said. “He needs to be better prepared. As you move away from the sidelines, you need to do more work. I know CBS is aware of this. They tried an intervention last offseason. They knew, they anticipated this. That’s a credit to them, the people in charge there. But it has not gotten better.”

His 1st season or 2 was much better. He doesn't offer as much insight now. Aikman offers more insight than Romo. I think Romo has just gotten lazy.

I cannot stand Romo doing games. His voice is like nails on a chalkboard. It doesn’t come natural for him.

Tony definitely will get the last laugh

Romo knows he's not going anywhere. All Romo has to do is tune in on Saturday and listen to how low Gary Danielson sets the bar.
