Meanwhile, the QB who replaced him in Carolina, Teddy Bridgewater, got a three-year, $63 million contract only a few months ago. 49ers DB Richard Sherman is not too happy about this...

WEll Richard, nothing prevents you from giving him some of your salary if you're so concerned.

I don’t recall hearing about anyone forcing Newton sign this contract. He signed it now go earn those bonuses and have another team offer big cash next year.

I guess it must be racist.

More money or you're a racist.

So, did Cam not have the freedom or right to turn the contract down? Should companies be forced to pay certain salaries to people and forced to hire them?

He's got at least $180k as a nest egg. He'll be fine.

Well considering that Forbes has Cams net worth at 45 million dollars, I'm sure he will be fine! This is the kind of shite that will kill all professional sports! Greedy athletes asking for more, more, more, and more! But don't quote me, I'm just asking for a friend!

The Patriots are notoriously cheap any way, but he didn't have to sign the contract if he didn't like it.

He shouldn’t have signed if it wasn’t enough.

He should've not signed it and stuck to his guns and DEMANDED more money. Then the Pats could've said NO. And we would be done.

I hate to lump Cam and Kaepernick together because I like Cam, but the NFL is big money. If you can help a team win, you’ll be there. Green doesn’t segregate.
