When speaking with NFL.com's Edward Lewis, NFL RB Reggie Bush announced that he is retiring from the NFL and is doing as a Saint...
quote:

I’m done,” Bush said. “Yeah, I’m done. I said it. It’s not breaking news. I’ve been saying it. I said it all season long, I said, ‘Listen, if I don’t play this year, I’m going to retire.’ Because I’m not going to spend a whole year off, come back, 33 years old, trying to get back in the league. Listen, once you get to a certain age as a running back, they just start to slowly weed you out.”
Bush finished his career with just under 5,500 rushing yards and nearly 3,600 receiving yards to go along with 58 career touchdowns.

Man,,,,,if he would have stayed vice bolting once Ingram was drafted......this would have been the first version of Kamara/Ingram...He was a real threat on kick offs and punt returns.....man what could have been.

Think what that skill set would have gotten him at Bama?

One of the greatest college players I've seen. His game really didn't fit a full time NFL position but he made the most of his opportunities.

Reggie Bush is awesome. He helped us win a Super Bowl and two division titles, and in addition, three playoff appearances. Also, he dated Kim Kardashian, didn't want to deal with the paparazzi, so he married a woman that looked just like her.

Leaving KK was the smartest thing he ever did and it also prevented him from getting some STDs.

I knew the Saints had a shot at winning it all when he trucked that Cardinals player in the playoffs. Until then, he was soft and danced around too much. I hated him in college, but I love him as a Saint.

Pretty funny when you consider he didn't want to come to NOLA out of college. No way the Saints make their 2006 and 2009 runs without him.

Vikes game had 2.5 punt return TDs (tripped himself up on what would've been number 3). Unreal.

Didn't they clock him at 22-23 mph?

Was at the game. That play is oddly how I remember Bush as a Saint. Go Steelers!
