Zion Williamson Is 1st Player Since Michael Jordan To Reach Big Milestone
© Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports
Even though they lost to the Spurs 110-108 last night, Pelicans star Zion Williamson walked way with a small victory becoming the first player since Michael Jordan to score 2,000 career points in their first 80 career games...

Congrats, big fella.

Wilt Chamberlain averaging almost 38 ppg out of the gate is the real story here.

He was also the first player to get 300K from Duke to play basketball, but we all know Vitale and Forde won’t say a damn thing. How I wish Bobby Knight was still coaching just to watch him rail on his former boy Coach K with all that cheating BS.

Zion will be the first superstar traded before his 22nd birthday after making the all star game twice in their first 3 years. You can book it. Pelicans GM Griffin has totally fuked up the Zion situation. Stan Van Gundy is a joke.

Just think how much quicker he would have gotten there had he not played on a minute limit last year.

Yeah, that’s a good point, he might have gotten to 2000 quicker than MJ. Still impressive regardless. On another note, I was loling when I saw Billy Knight on the list. I have no fricking clue who that is lol.
