Spread was 12. A TD with the extra point right there would have made it 54-41. Nothing to see here.

Thought he was at practice.

3:21 left in the game. It almost looked like he wanted to make sure he got down and did not take a hit.

Did not take a hit? You mean by hitting him?

Seems like a good way to cause a fumble to me. Not expecting to take a shot from your own teammate

What-What happens is, the-the-the centre has-has the ball first. And-And-And the quarterback will say, "Hike." That's when the c-center puts the ball in-into the hands of the quarterback. So what I do is, l-I start tacklin' the quarterback, unless he give the ball to-to s-somebody else, in which case, l-I try to tackle that person.

What about their teammate who came from lower right and jumped over both of them as if he were a hurdler?

That game came down to the last play with NIU on the 2 yard line. He shouldn't have tackled his own guy. Another 15 yards or so and he would've been close to field goal range, which they certainly could've used to ice the game.

Larry is an idiot. There was an interception and the defender was continuing to run it back. His teammate did the right thing by tackling him so that there was not another turnover.

It was a fumble

Not in that situation. Your comment would be valid if there was less time left and the game was iced but it was a one score game with more than 3 minutes left, a field goal ices it.

yep but these people aren't smart enough to understand

It was pick at the tail end of the 4th Q and it looked like he wanted the guy to get down versus potentially fumbling and giving the ball back to NIU

I am not sure what is more shocking, the headline by Larry accurately described what I saw, or that a guy certainly did tackle his own teammate in a game!?!?!

I may have spoken too soon... why is there a DB on the field when the offense has the ball?!?! Or was it a punt return? In which case, why is there a first down marker on the field... unless he ran it back to NIU's first down, which is possible. But then there is the fact that the guy who tackled the runner looks more like a lineman than a DB... I'm back to thinking Larry f'd this up as usual.

Ever heard of an interception? Look at #12 on the opposing team in the field, you know, the QB..
