UCF Players Will Be Wearing These Jerseys With Giant QR Codes During Spring Game
© Douglas DeFelice-USA TODAY Sports
For UCF's spring game on Saturday, players will be wearing uniforms that carry a custom QR code that links to their social media accounts and personal merchandise pages...
quote:

“Last year, we put Twitter handles on our jerseys. I was like, ‘What the heck am I doing?’” head coach Gus Malzahn said, per Ross Dellenger of Sports Illustrated. “We wanted to be the school that embraced it. At the old traditional schools, there’s a lot of dynamics. Yeah, they’re for it but really, they’re not for it. We are a school that can fully embrace it—the young school, social media. It fits with us.”

“It was a little weird early on. Now it’s not,” he added. “Now it’s part of the job description.”

Is Plumlee an 8th year Sr? Didn't he run all over us as an Ole Sis TFR during Les's last year?

The State of College Football. Will either be gone in 5 years or will resemble the current Ivy League level of play.

To me this just says these players are more concerned about their social media platform than developing their game. There’s a time and place to expand your NIL platform and on the playing field isn’t it.
