When I say there was "barely a crowd" at USC's Spring Game, I'm being kind. For a preseason top ten ranked team this was the attendance looked like this weekend at their spring game at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Saturday...

LSU will only have people on one side.

This is so fricking stupid.. are you just ignoring the almost full section of seats in the second set of pictures?

Definitely looks like the other side of the stadium is pretty crowded ... my guess is no one likes to stare into the sun all game

Of course, LA has a bit more other stuff going on than does Nebraska. Not exactly shocking that the Huskers' spring game would out-draw USC's.

Newsflash, not everyone is obsessed with sports, especially a practice.

thats like taking a pic of the east lower at tiger stadium for the spring game. its empty, while the west lower is mostly full. one of those pics shows a bunch of people in the stands.

Extremely simple, the USC spring game is a non-event with everything else you can possibly due on a nice spring Saturday in L.A. The Nebraska spring game is the most anticipated thing in Nebraska between the Huskers bowl game and the corn planting in the next few weeks.

SC doesn't have loyal fans...just bandwagon.

This same argument (there's SO much to do in S Cal) gets repeated whenever USC fans are called into question. The problem is that there are millions of people in the area. Even if a small fraction of those people chose to do something else, the crowd would still be huge. I think it's more likely that they have little interest in a program whose most famous player is a double murderer, cheated it's way to mediocrity in the BCS era, and has had a string of drunks and malcontents calling the shots until recently. You know I'm right.

A practice game isn't worth sitting in L.A. traffic...sorry

Well, it's no wheat field . . . but barley is good too.
