He’s a weird dude. But he’s totally right. I’m not sure why people at LSU would want Ryan Day as a coach. He inherited a great program from Urban. He was brought in on third base, he didn’t earn it. He’s not progressed that program at all. I’ve never heard the analogy, but it couldn’t be more spot on

He can talk shite if he wants to because they won the game, but id like to think he would get a few wins in this rivalry before puffing his chest out. Buckeyes aren't going away and maybe you just caught lightning in a bottle.

It's kind of like all that ATM talk after they won a game vs LSU. Be happy because LSU will be back and beat you 50 to 7 the next time we play. OSU will be back next year Jimmy.

He's right. Harbaugh has earned the right to talk.

He’s going to break his arm patting himself on the back. Yes, Day inherited a winning program but seven(?) years to win against that team is a long time for Day to tank or Jim to get better

I think Michigan will be beating Ohio State pretty regularly now that they’ve gotten over that hump. Coaches build their programs differently and sometimes they have to adjust the way that they go about doing that with the game changing. CFB is completely different than it was when he was at Stanford and I just think he came in trying to build it the same way while Ohio State remained established. They kept piling up the QBs and offensive weapons then improved the defense under Day. Jim had to recruit against that and completely change the roster. It’s taken him longer because he had to adjust on the fly. I think he’s got it figured out now. Recruiting will pick up and he’ll still have his foundation to improve on.
