Does Tim Tebow Believe He Can Still Play Football?
Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports
Does Tim Tebow still think he can play football? You betcha. He was talking about how hard it was to give up his football career on the podcast "Journeys of Faith with Paula Faris"...Per TMZ...
quote:

Tebow said it's STILL difficult to swallow, 'cause he thinks he can still ball.

"It's still hard sometimes when I watch games and I'm thinking, 'I can totally do that.' Or, 'I can be doing this or playing here or crushing that!'"

But -- Tebow ain't bitter about the whole deal ... saying that while "the NFL didn't go at all as planned" -- he thinks it paved the way for his baseball career.

"I think God used the highs and the lows for a purpose and you try to embrace that and say, 'OK, God, what do you want me to do with this?' And he opened up baseball as an avenue."
No way he can.

I bet Tebow could have been a really good ILB had he switched positions and accepted NFL QB wasn't his calling. He likes to hit and he really fast as shite for a 240lb guy.

If he were black a QB the left wing nut jobs would be screaming racist conspiracy. It’s not just like the anti American CK is not. If they help someone win they would be signed. Tebow is simply the greatest college QB ever.

If he would have moved to TE, he could have had a career.

If he had 4 more years of college eligibility.

I’d sign him before that clown Colin K

What makes him a clown?

JohhnyU, are you asking what makes Colin Kaeperprick a clown? If so, no need to discuss further with you

Of course he could. Maybe not as a QB though. It's not like Tebow is some 40-year-old has-been who's been spending the past decade on the couch eating potato chips. He's been playing another professional sport for goodness' sake.

As a QB, No. If he switched positions, yes he can definitely still play.

Yes. He wasn't removed because he lacked ability. He was removed for the same reason kap was, he spoke his mind in an unpopular fashion.

Preach on, brother.

It was a combination of his ability and the unnecessary attention that he would have brought with him (both positive and negative). His skills are unique and would require a specific system and coaching philosophy that included some patience to develop.

Uncle Rico has parlayed a very mediocre NFL career into a lucrative college football commentator gig. He and Saban both failed in the NFL and realized where their safe zone was - college. Tim’s all about the Benjamins.

I had no idea Uncle Rico won a Heisman.

He could be playing in the league in a Taysum Hill type of position. Saying is not capable of playing, at some capacity, is grossly incorrect. Is he a drop back passer? NO.

Such a Tebow thing to say.

Too late now, but he needed to have gone to Saints and do what T Hill is doing.
