Legendary Florida State head football coach Bobby Bowden was on Mike & Mike on Wednesday morning. For some reason the topic of players not having fathers came up, which this was one of Bowden's comments...

Let's not do that on TV again, ok Bobby? Thanks.

Pretty sure he said this same thing when he was coaching in the 1990's and no one reacted this way.

He's right .....He's 137 and does not give a flip about being PC....Greenie squats when he pees. Probably one of the most loved and influential players coaches of his time.

Bobby Bowden is one the most incredible men I ever had the opportunity to meet. Few men have done more to help kids become men than this guy. He made a living helping kids without fathers become men but what goes unheard is his non paid commitments to organizations like FCA and to the kids after football

Heard it on the morning radio... out of context... In addition, Coach was trying to be funny.

Funny, but the PC crowd never laugh when they think the can cry "racist". Get over it.

Moms raise boys but it takes a man to raise a man. Bobby's right.

"I'm kidding about that." Kinda of an important part to omit.

Of course he's kidding. If you're a guy wearing an earring to be like your mama, then you're most likely gay. Other races might not understand black males wearing jewelry, but it's something taken from our African roots.

"Let's not do that on TV again, ok Bobby? Thanks." This from a guy who rarely can make one internet post a day without error. Thanks.

Bowden has been a father figure to many of his minority players, many will still vouche for him.

Some things you just pass on. This is one

Lol. His old arse isn't worried abt being PC. If that hurt anyone's feelings, they are in fact a pussy, so maybe Bobby's right to some extent

Bobby grew up in racist Birmingham. He can't help it.

So waking up to your dad being in the same house you slept is now racist as well. You freaks can't disappear fast enough.

is it racist to assume racism when the topic of sexism is brought up?
