2023 5-Star Recruit Reportedly Signs $8 Million NIL Deal

According to The Athletic, a 2023 recruit has signed an agreement with a school’s NIL collective that could pay him more than $8 million over four years. The recruit will be paid $350,000 almost immediately. This deal will then be followed up by monthly payouts that equal more than $2 million per year.

To be honest, it seems like the “under the table” deals now become the NIL ones. The intent was for players to get paid for their likeness in a video game or a percentage of their jerseys sold, not as a salary. Maybe we are in the final days.

Lol, KajunTiger Mud_Bone is not a freaking student. There should be a cap placed on student athletes, they aren't freaking employees. If they want to be employees, things will get bad for them.
