Was it closer than you would like...yes. Was it a recreation of some of the scenes in Top Gun?....no. Not even close.

The crew of the charter jet will get violated for not holding short of the runway. To be fair most airports that have parallel runways like LAX have a taxiway in between. Its very easy on the north side of LAX to miss the hold short line of runway 24L.
