Being a retired youth league coach I can imagine the feeling. All those hours in the car. Pitching in the cages. Hitting so your son can shag balls. Awesome

He committed to play basketball at UGA out of HS. Chose baseball. Good choice.

Good for him. Pujols-Edmonds-Rolen was as lethal as any 3-4-5 you will ever find.

Damn it is dusty in here.....all those days that Dad probably finished work and soft-tossed bucket after bucket or hit grounders for him until they were both drop dead tired...it is like being rewarded for them both....I can't imagine...I often wonder if I will ever be in that spot while me and my boy put in the work when no one but us see it in the yard bucket after bucket of balls...man I didn't expect all those feels!

Odds are, no. But your son will remember forever the time you spend and how much you love him.
