Tommy Pham Threatens To Fight Opponent After Ugly Slide On His Catcher

It all started with this slide that Padres' Luke Voit put on Reds catcher Tyler Stephenson last night... Stephenson's teammate Tommy Pham wasn't having it, so after the game he threaten to fight Voit at a local gym... Voit had this response about the play after the game... Pham has never been afraid to fight or rather talk about his fighting style...

The slide was on the inside of the plate and the catcher dove into the slide. This is stupid.

Nothing to defend here. Stephenson did his job-- Caught the ball, stood on the tracks, took the hit, didn't drop the ball and got the out. Both those players are getting paid to make the play. Stephenson won out. Any actual "pro" should know there's nothing more to see here.
