New York Mets 3B Todd Frazier pulled a fast one on the umpire Monday. It looks as if he made an awesome diving foul ball catch into the stands, but after a closer look he switched out the balls while on his back. The umpire didn't notice and called it an out. Check this out...

I think it's funny as hell. Good for him BUT eventually, you gotta own up to it and accept the consequences.

Maybe he's admitted it, or the fan said it was so. But hard for me to call that video conclusive, especially the way they change cameras mid-way. If it were the rubber ball picked up by the fan, wouldn't it draw the same reaction if they didn't know the rubber ball existed? In fact, isn't the fan picking up the ball seem to be more in the area of where the rubber ball went, as opposed to the outstretched glove 7 feet in the other direction?

One time Jeter had the ball clearly hit the knob of the ball, ump said he got hit, he didn’t argue

Looks like he caught it to me. The ball on the table came out of the green bag.

If you are not cheating in baseball, you are not trying. Its like Nascar. That is why the Pete Rose ban is so stupid. They all cheat. Except Frank Thomas.

Does he get fined or does the league say good one and move on?
