During Pittsburgh's spring training game against Atlanta on Saturday, this Pirates fan saved this kid from a very bad situation with this bulked up wrist...

Why didn't Mr. Incredible in the background spring into action?

He's obviously trying to use his energy blast to stop the bat, so ease up dude... He just didn't have enough time to properly charge up his ability.

This picture here is what is wrong with kids these days in a nut shell! If this picture is take 10+ years ago the kid has a glove on his hand and all he is thinking about and caring about is catching a foul ball. If a bat is headed towards him he is ready to pounce on the thing and take a bruise or two to make sure he gets that thing home. Now a days, take a kid to the ball game and all you will hear is, "this sport is boring, where is a phone I can play on." Kid should have taken the bat to the head for playing on his phone at a damn baseball game.

If your seats are in foul and flying bat territory you simply can't be playing with your phone if you're not experienced enough to look up for every pitch.

upvote. but its still impressive he stopped the bat. not sure my hand-eye coordination could pull that off even with my scrawny wrists

No doubt. Cailou needs to pay better attention next time.
