Multiple sources are reporting that LSU has hired Texas A&M athletic director Scott Woodward to replace Joe Alleva who stepped down from his role as AD on Thursday.

Woodward, a native of Baton Rouge, graduated from LSU in 1985 and served as LSU's vice chancellor from 2000-04.

Prior to being hired at Texas A&M, Woodward served as the athletic director at Washingon from 2008-2015.

In the 2nd photo, you can tell Scott Woodard is thinking to himself, "What a bunch of weird fricks! I've got to get the hell out if here as soon as the LSU AD position opens!"

Already worked as our Vice Chancellor, Graduated from LSU, and grew up in Baton Rouge. So at least he will have the University’s best interest at heart when he makes decisions. This is not a job, like with Alleva, it’s home. So yes we will definitely do a better job.

If the Fisher contract he put together doesn’t give you a moment of pause about this hire....

You mean the hire where they embarrassed us by signing the HC that we wanted after firing Les Miles in strange fashion - thus, forcing us to promote our DL coach?
