For the first time in school history, LSU had three players from three different sports selected in the first round of their professional drafts.

-Cornerback Derek Stingley was selected 3rd overall in the 2022 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans.

-Forward Tari Eason was selected 17th overall in the 2022 NBA draft by the Houston Rockets.

-Third baseman/right fielder Jacob Berry was selected 6th overall in the 2022 MLB Draft by the Miami Marlins.
