Many pictures and videos have been floating around social media recently of LSU players wearing uniforms that look a little different from what the Tigers wore last year.

The difference is in the shoulder stripes which don't go completely around the shoulders.

Glad they went back to it. The stripes were this length in all of the last three championship game appearances. From Laron Landry to Glenn Dorsey to Tyrann Mathieu, they rocked it well.

our uniforms and helmets have been "messed with" repeatedly over the decades. Helmet was changed in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Jersey shoulder stripes, shade of purple, thickness of pant stripes, number font, have all been changed. You do realize you can freshen things up a bit. Old-school tradition to some people just means old and stale to others. I'm 53, but even I'd like to see some freshening.
