Why would any reputable coach want to come to LSU????? If they're any good, they already make a fortune (relatively speaking) and the local sports writers and too many of the fan base are living in a Saban dominated dream world...it's a no win situation....I predict we'll wish Orgeron was back in a couple of years...this is truly, I believe, the end of LSU football

All you see is black? Mike Tomlin would be very much wanted by all LSU fans. It is because Tomlin is a PROVEN HEAD COACH!! Tomlin is black but that is irrelevant. LSU is not in the position to take a risk in this hire. Mel Tucker has not even been a head coach for 2 years yet and barely has a .500 record overall. I would love to have Herm Edwards. He has experienced success in the NFL, and is somehow succeeding at ASU.
Give him LSU’s resources and talent, and I predict great things.

Tucker, however, does not deserve to be LSU’s next coach. This would only occur, IMO, if President CRTate pushed this hire through.

Perhaps one day he will be deserving. That day is not now.
