Easy decision for a rich and privileged guy and son. I guarantee you that the majority of less socioeconomically privileged young men are at greater risk in their home environments than in school/football. We will see this first-hand and it when we put the data together, it will be not only sad but catastrophic.

How about you let your hypothetical adult son make his own decisions

Booger is a liberal echo chamber. Plain and simple.

People are acting like this is the Bubonic Plague. If a primo athlete catches it, they get sick and recover. They want to play. Let them play. Tired of people acting like Covid is a death sentence for the entire country.

Until they don't and they die.

CLib - Please update us all when ur “Fantastical” desire actually materializes! Because as of today it’s a FACT that Kids & Young Adults shake the COVID off quickly & with very little short or long term effects. U know like COLLEGE ATHLETES fo GODS SAKE

I would let my son play football this season IF HE WANTED TO. See how this works?

He works for woke-center, so this is not surprising.

If I had a daughter, I wouldn’t let her play football, but I don’t, so I don’t have an opinion

Perhaps Booger doesn't know this, but many of the players you know, the ones taking the risk, want to play. If they refuse to play, there is no decision to be made. The majority want to play.

He has fallen prey to the emotional, fear-provoking media.

No doubt but considering his profession & the Company he’s employed by I’d like to think he’s just doing what he believes his “Boss” (ESPN) wants him to!

Calls fans selfish, also says he wouldn’t let his son play. Hypocrisy at its finest booger!

I would let my kid play for sure, but what is hypocritical about those two things? No sarcasm, I just must be missing something

Booger has become quite sanctimonious in the last year. Even aside from this. He’s getting harder to listen to.

Yeah he is quickly pulling into the lead with Clark as the most obnoxious former LSU Players for me. Its like he gives no shits how this can effect the LSU Athletics department if we don’t play. Like your word usage big dog.

He will still get his whole paycheck. He doesn't care & he will never move back to Winnsboro.

Liberals seem to “Bend the Knee” & sacrifice the Short Term in order to achieve their Long term goals! Its unfortunate for Republicans & definitely harmful for America but true nonetheless!

This is completely retarded. Im pretty sure more athletes have died by neighborhood violence or a random heart attack or stroke on the practice field than have by Covid. But lets all hide in our homes and chew our fingernails off in fear. Unreal.
user avatar
redbullwings45 months
So, there are deaths every singe football season with different reasons, stroke, enlarged heart, etc. Every single one now will be attributed to Covid this season and I don't like that or look forward to hearing the sports talking heads discuss that.

Sad to see...Boo Booger. You have fallen into the liberal propagandized mindset of the company you work for, the CNN of sports...
