During a radio appearance in Nashville on Tuesday, Vanderbilt head coach Derek Mason said Joe Burrow is the best quarterback he has seen in his six years as the coach at Vandy.


Burrow passed for 398 yards and six touchdowns in LSU's 66-38 win over Vanderbilt last weekend. His six touchdown set a school record for most TD passes in a single game.

His performance also earned him SEC Player of the Week, his third of the season.

On the season, Burrow has 1,520 passing yards, 17 touchdowns, and just two interceptions. His QB-Rating is 93.2.
