Everyone is forgetting, LSU won the BCS with 2 Losses, Arkansas L-48-50 (OT) and Kentucky L-37-43 (OT) by a Total of 8 Points and Beat Bama by a score of W-41-34 in Tuscaloosa. Overall Record: 12-2 Conference Record: 6-2; Final Ranking: 1 so, if what they say happens, what keeps LSU from winning it all this Year also? If LSU Beats Bama then somebody else will beat them also and that will put LSU in Atlanta at Season's End. How Far they go from there will determine how they do in that Game, if they Win, they have a shot at winning it all, if they Loose then a Trip to the Sugar Bowl will be in store for The Tigers...... GEAUX TIGERS!

A 1 non-conference loss?

If we beat Bama, we will win the West. It's usually a loss to an unexpected team that trips you up. That said, 10-2 with a new staff and a new offense is actually pretty realistic. Next year I think will be the first full season to go by, as coaches will have had a full season and offseason to recruit and solidify the program. But make no mistake, this team is talented enough to win it all this year, if everything falls just right!

If we're 6-2 with a win over Bama, where do the other losses come from? FLA and Auburn?

I think O needs 2-3 years of his recruits and build depth in order to be a NC contender. LSU is thin at both lines and the QB hasnt proven he can make the plays in a big game.

Ugh I'm bummed that we're expected to be happy with 3rd place in SEC now.

I would be pumped AF for coach O's future if he can go 10-2 with a NY6 bowl appearance.

As much love as auburn has been getting I'm surprised our record isn't swapped with theirs.

If that one loss on Bama's record comes from us, i'd take it. Considering the talent loss and personnel changes from last year.

beating Bama would be great, but that's not the only goal - which is winning the West. If we beat Bama and still have 2 conference losses, that doesn't get us where we need to be.

Bama is a well established Juggernaut. We're a mostly young team with two new coaches. 10-2 in the first year AND beating bama would be fantastic
