LSU (9-2) remains at No. 6 in the AP Top 25 after Saturday's 41-10 win over UAB.

Tennesse's loss to South Carolina allowed USC to jump LSU for the No. 5 spot after the Trojans' win over UCLA.

LSU moved up one spot to No. 6 in the Coaches Poll.

The Tigers will wrap up the regular season this upcoming Saturday at Texas A&M (6 pm CT on ESPN), followed by a trip to Atlanta for the SEC Championship vs. Georgia (3 pm CT on CBS).

The College Football Playoff rankings will come out on Tuesday at 6 pm CT on ESPN.

There are certain teams that will always be over-ranked. It was that way before we had the NC decided on the field, and its still that way. Thankfully we get to decide it for ourselves. Notre Dame, Michigan and USC. The media just loves these teams. To be fair, they have huge alumni bases and probably alot in media.
