Former LSU all-american cornerback Patrick Peterson posted this picture on Instagram of what clearly looks like him intercepting a pass from Greg McElroy that was intended for Julio Jones. The play was ruled an incomplete pass...

How that call was missed, I'll never know.

How they let those individuals still officiate games, I'll never understand. You have one job... and about 3 different camera angles.

How fast do you think they would have reversed that call had the roles been reversed? about 2 seconds

so bad. worst ive ever seen. there was physical damn evidence.

And we still never got an explanation from the SEC about that call. If the roles were reversed, they would have called it a catch on the field and not even reviewed it.

Any Alabama fans care to chime in with an explanation? How can anyone say that wasn't a catch? It was an NFL CATCH, he CLEARLY had two feet in and the ball never moved from his possession.

I'm not an AL fan, but it's clear what happened. High stakes game AT Bama w/ the final call made by a replay official who, at the time, had long-standing ties to Bama. He should've never been on the official's team in ANY capacity.

it's all about the SEC love affair with red unis...wonder if tOSU gets same treatment in big14?

That call still pisses me off to this day! I think SEC officiating is sometimes bias or the refs have their pockets lined.

As maddening and bad as that call was, I think it's time to move on..

I remember hearing a rumor that Slive was in the replay booth when this was being reviewed.

This was a bad call, no doubt. McElroy and the boys sure caught payback in TS the next year.

I was at that game and a Bama fan sitting behind me was listening to the Alabama broadcast on the radio. During the review, she tapped me on the shoulder and told me the Bama radio people said it was clearly LSU ball.
