Funny that you mention TM7. He openly professed, and was embarrassed by, the fact that he never played his best ball vs. Bama. Other DBs had ball-out games vs. Bama (Redo, Claiborne, Adams, PP7) but Mathieu had a mental hiccup on Alabama for whatever reason. Delpit and Greedy and all the DBs better play with passion and perfection if they really want to win. Tua and that passing attack is legit scary.

Tyrann let us down in 2012. He would've been all over and tackled Yeldon right away.

You can draw a line between our respective schedules except for the one common opponent (Ole Miss): 4. MIAMI 8. MISSISSIPPI STATE 27. GEORGIA 33. AUBURN 37. LA TECH 41. FLORIDA ------------------ 89. Texas A&M 93. Missouri 97. Arkansas 99. OLE MISS 107. Arkansas State 108. Tennessee 115. Louisville 119. ULL Now, about Ole Miss. Bama scored 62 on them, we scored 45. And, I know that Bama played backups in the 4th quarter but those kids were trying and LSU played the clock too. Here's what is interesting. LSU had more yards than Bama (573 v. 516) LSU had more first downs than Bama (33 v. 27) LSU had more rushing yards than Bama (281 v. 210) LSU had more yards per rushing attempt than Bama (5.6 v. 4.8) Bama had slightly more passing yards (306 v. 292) But LSU had more yards per pass attempt than Bama (11.7 v. 10.9) I am not saying that LSU's offense is as good as Bamas. I think they clearly have the better offense and we will need our fans to shake up Tua. But their offense is not THAT great. The stats are padded against eight of the worst defenses in college football.

I've been saying this. Tua looks great, but they've also played nobody defensively worth a shite. They won't be scoring a ridiculous amount of points like their fans believe. Our secondary is going to have a good day and make Tua look human.
