Former LSU players Ja'Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, and Tyrann Mathieu were all named to the 2022 NFL Pro Bowl roster on Wednesday night.

Chase, the 5th overall pick by the Cincinnati Bengals, is dominating his rookie season with 61 receptions for 1,038-yards and 10 touchdowns.

Jefferson, in year two of his NFL career with the Minnesota Vikings, has caught 88 passes, for 1,400 yards, and seven touchdowns.

Mathieu has recorded 65 tackles, three interceptions, and two fumble recoveries for the Kansas City Chiefs this year. This is Mathieu's third trip to the pro bowl second straight with the Chiefs.

Former LSU star quarterback Joe Burrow has been named an alternate for the Pro Bowl and others could likely be added to the roster later on.

Think tigerman meant to put this on the below comment, or at least that’s the only thing that makes sense to me.

Very happy for these guys. But a list without the demario Davis is a crap list.

No Devin White, no legit pro bowl.

And replace who? Bobby Wagner with 40 more tackles? Or Micah Parsons with 8.5 more sacks, 10 more TFLs and 11 more hits on QBs. Only two ILB spots. One of them has to go and it’s melodramatic whining to say it’s an illegitimate pro bowl to pick either of those guys over White.

Did any other school get more invites than us? Joe shouldn’t just be an alternate.

Jefferson has a subpar starting QB too. Imagine if he had Burrow throwing to him.

Cousins is having the best season of his career and only Rodgers has a better TD:INT. Cousins isn't top tier but he's better than subpar.

Okay, then my opinion is that Jefferson makes Cousins look better than Subpar.

Why in the world would any Louisiana WR not go to LSU. The amount of stars that roll through here even in subpar offenses is crazy.

Because LSU's QB situation is in total disarray and Alabama has a Heisman-winning QB who throws 6-point rainbows??

Larry put last year's stats for Jefferson instead of 2021. He had 1400 yds & 7 tds his rookie season. He has 1335 yds & 9 tds this season.

Should've done better research. Oklahoma has double that, and teams like Notre Dame, Cal, & FSU have more as well. Quite a few schools have 3.
