ESPN's Standford Steve was on “McElroy and Cubelic In the morning” on WJOX Friday and expressed his skepticism for LSU with two big SEC matchups still on the horizon for the Tigers. Per SDS:
quote:

“Everyone just penciling in LSU to Atlanta,” Steve continued on. “I’m not there yet. These 2 games on the road in SEC play are really, really tricky.”

They have 2 more conference games left on the schedule: Arkansas at Fayetteville and Texas A&M at College Station.

“I would lean towards Arkansas,” Steve said. “Because I’m not sure LSU is ready yet to go on the road and lean on that offense.”

Does this guy watch football or is he simply a ‘tard? I’m pretty sure LSU has taken this offense on the road this year ….multiple times.

It's like people just say shite to be different. That made zero sense (lean on the offense on the road). That's the same offense that put up over 550 yards and 45 points on Florida. That Arkansas pass defense is only better than Vandy and Ohio, IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY! That run defense is middle of the pack. Can we stop with the foolishness? Nobody had any problem saying Bama would beat us by 2+ TDs on the road because they are better everywhere, but you got bozos saying we'll lose to a declining Arkansas team for idiotic reasons.

Sure, these will be tough games and there is no guarantee that LSU will win them both. But LSU has certainly demonstrated that it CAN win them both.

Very dumb take considering LSU has already won two SEC road games that are quite a bit tougher to win at than Fayetteville or A&M.

This guy actually just got paid to say a team might not win two games. I've been working way too hard for my money.

First of all, “Steve” probably didn’t even go to Stanford. Second of all, I’ve already penciled us in my book that we are going to Atlanta.

He did go to Stanford. He was also the National High School player of the year

Well they went to Florida and "leaned" on the offense--I see no reason why they can't do the same at Arky. Guess he needs to come up with another reason.

Why would a team with a strong run game like LSU from both the QB and running backs not have an offense that translates to the road?
