No loyalty! Such a shame! Coach Moffitt bleeds purple and gold!

In today's world, whether Corporate or institutions of higher learning, there is no loyalty (to or from).

So, Kelly should just keep all of O's staff?

20+ years is pretty loyal. ...or is Kelly being loyal to his ND staff? Hmmmm

regardless the current narrative on Moffit, the man deserves our respect for his historical body of work. He wasn’t here 20 years for no reason. So downvotes be damned, let me be the first to say Thank you for your service, coach! You are a great Tiger.

Oh come on. It was quite obvious the game had passed by him. Look at what Alabama has been able to do between 2011 and 2021 and look at his. His proteges have done better than him. I still can't forget the 2011 21-0 beat down and how our players have struggled in the trenches for so long. Dude over stayed his welcome by a by about 10 years. It's not like he worked for free.

Think this might be a hint about coaches from ND coming to LSU after the Playoffs are set. Someone in another thread point out that coaches might come after ND is out. I tend yo agree.

ND coaches are getting more money and like the new HC. Don't have to uproot families and realize what a different world Red Stick is from South Bend. Makes perfect sense.

Fairhope….have you heard of a fella named Scott Woodward? You think that man will let money make the difference in getting who Kelly wants? They ain’t staying because they would get more money dumb dumb…they would stay because that’s where they want to be.

Moffit has been great for the program but the teams over the last couple of years have shown an apparent deficit in strength and conditioning. Of course, as fans observing from the outside we don’t have a complete understanding of the full involvement of the S&C coaches in this trend. However, I am on board with giving the new coach a free hand in making adjustments as he deems necessary. Thanks to Coach Moffit and welcome to the new coach.

I worked for a large corporation 35 years. The new broom sweeps clean. Just the way it is.

Great run, but we all know it was time.

Don't want to hear anybody talking crap should Tommy join Saban or Fisher. You didn't want him here any longer so he can take his talents to anywhere of his choosing.

Exactly what results at LSU in the last 2 years in the Strength & Conditioning Program by Moffit is impressive to you?

I hope he goes to a school in the west and turns their Olinemen into fat asses like ours

This is the best move for the program and makes me really buy into what BK is going to do. He’s completely changing LSU’s culture and he’s starting with refocusing discipline.

Next up: fix the RB situation.

Our players seem to be injury prone at a high rate. Offensive line needs better strength & conditioning for sure. Moffitt is to be thanked for his devoted years, but loyalty to a job does not warrant a lifetime job.

Go get Scott Cochran formerly with Bama and Georgia if he wants to be a S+C coach again. Local boy may want to come home

Scott would be grand slam. Looks at those UGA baws.

Are we basing this off of linemen performance only? Maybe if we recruited better this wouldn’t be that big of a problem

Thank you TM but it’s time for a change.

lets be honest a lot of this injuries could have been played with had we been 10-1 or higher

Don't know if Moffett was completely to blame for the injury situation, the reported soft practices probably played a contributing factor as well, but a change was needed with a new regime.

I'd really like to see Moffitt at Arkansas working with Pittman's OL recruits. Maybe Pittman adds him to work along side Jamil Walker who he brought in from Georgia and was an Asst S & C coach at Wisconsin.

Moffit was past his prime a decade ago.
