They have been getting conflicting messages almost daily. 3 months ago, the powers that be told him things would be back to normal by football season. Then with a snap of the finger, the assholes in the Big10 cancel and everybody is pressuring the SEC to do the same. I would assume he wanted to play but not under these circumstances.
