LSU and Texas A&M will no longer play on Thanksgiving after this season, according to Brent Zwerneman with the Houston Chronicle.

COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M playing host to LSU on Thanksgiving night was a short-lived Southeastern Conference tradition. The Aggies and Tigers will no longer play their regular-season finale on Thanksgiving night when they play at Kyle Field, according to a person with knowledge of the situation, thanks primarily to ESPN needing an annual series on Thanksgiving night.
The Egg Bowl between Mississippi State and Ole Miss will now return to Thanksgiving night, according to HailState.com:

The Egg Bowl returns to Thanksgiving night as the Bulldogs host Ole Miss on Nov. 23 in Davis Wade Stadium. It will mark the first year of a multi-year agreement to play the Egg Bowl on Thanksgiving night.

This will make Stingray happy. Hopefully, he can watch the game from his local soup kitchen.
