According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, former LSU and current Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow will undergo surgery to have his appendix removed.

Burrow will miss some practice time as he recovers from the appendectomy, but it's not expected to be an extended absence.

Joe doesn’t have appendicitis or anything, the appendix just wasn’t willing to give 110% to be a champion so he had to let it go.

Wait…which book of Joe’s are they removing the appendix from? Not the playbook, I hope.

Mine erupted had to spend a couple days in the hospital. Better to have it removed before it’s pretty easy procedure if you get it out in time.

Scientists from Auburn have been working for years on an artificial appendix.

And because they are from Auburn, they still haven't figured it out yet.
