ESPN is "very interested" in hiring former LSU head coach Les Miles, FootballScoop.com reported Friday.
quote:

Les Miles: Soureces tell FootballScoop, ESPN is very interested in having Les join the network should Les decide none of the coaching openings are the right fit for him. It is our hope the decision makers at the worldwide leader recognize the potential for a daily show. #MakeESPNGreatAgain
Miles was fired from LSU on September 25 following a 2-2 start this season. His name has been mentioned for multiple coaching opening, but he has not been hired by a school yet.

An Auburn fan on another site offered this up: Miles and Spurrier going at it on ESPN! I agree 100%! That would be hilarious!

I think this would be perfect for Les. He's a smart guy and can schmooze an audience.

Dude can't talk fast enough or form sentence fast enough to be on ESPN show where you have timed interviews.

Lol. He would be a perfect replacement for Dr. Lou! Neither of them have a clue, but they are very entertaining. Of course, ESPN would have to hire a translator and groundskeeper for Les!

Maybe after next year Nebraska will get rid of Mike Riley. Les would be a perfect fit there.

If Les goes to ESPN, will he be contractually obligated to hate LSU?

Curious about the questions posed about whether LSU would have to pay Les's buyout if he gets a Non-coaching gig: ****NEWSFLASH: whether or not LSU had to pay all or some of Les's buyout has no effect on your life, WHY DOES THIA MATTER TO SOME POSTERS? Do you think our taxes are going up of LSU does have to pay all of the buyout?

Winning or losing games has no effect on our lives either, but we still care.

Because he doesn't deserve a dime of that buyout! He robbed LSU for years and lied through his teeth after the 2008 debacle about making changes. Les lied and LSU football died.

Just wondering, what if he took the job for $1 a year? Would LSU still be on the hook for the remainder of the buyout?
