Arkansas was able to get victories in both of their rivalry games last season against LSU and Missouri.

Razorbacks athletic director Jeff Long thought Wednesday would be a good day to remind everyone of those two victories and tweeted out the following picture with the caption "Defending our Borders."

LSU has lost the past two meetings against Arkansas but will look for revenge on November 12 in Fayetteville.

I don't think we have much room to talk - they've dominated us the last two years and have played us tough for 10+ years. Personally, I don't care one bit what kind of trophy they have or how much they promote their wins against us. If we kick the shite out of them next year, all of this goes away.

Problem is that Jeff Long still has to live in Arkansas when both games are done.

Arkansas and LSU are no more "rivals" than any other school we play. This game is something for Arkansas fans to consider a rivalry while LSU fans never do.

"Arkansas and LSU are no more "rivals" than any other school we play." For LSU fans like myself who live 1/2 mile from the AR/LA line it feels like a rivalry. Losing to AR makes the rest of the year VERY long for me. :-(

If LSU played Arkansas earlier in the year it wouldn't even be close. The game is after brutal games with BAMA and it has been after a loss so the guys have lost their motivation. This year will be different..book it.

If they added Mizzou to the trophy it would be a hip boot.

I agree ForeverLSU, I always count Arkansas as a loss preseason. Every year. It makes the inevitable reality easier to swallow

What? Lsu could lose to Arkansas for the next decade straight and arkanasas wouldnt be .500 against lsu.

Year in and year out it's never the Alabama game that concerns me the most. It's always Arkansas. They always play us the toughest IMO

Yeah I mean they built a fricking shrine for a so called riverlery trophy. ?? I wish the LSU players took the game as seriously as the hog players but that will just never happen.
