Shand said,“It’s a privilege!” (To play at LSU).I would think that 99.9% of the player that have played for LSU have felt the same way. I am glad we have one that crystalized that concept in one phrase.

These guys are an example of being a true LSU football player. They bleed purple and gold and love LSU. Thanks for your example and for the great memories as a player. GEAUX TIGERS!

I wish the best for these two especially Williams a walk on. My days as a student trainer the walk ons truly loved playing the game. Scholarship players really appreciated them( like the kid at Florida Senator M Rubio’s son scoring his first collegiate touchdown- players went wild). Can’t wait to see him in his final game.

I agree. From what I have heard from the kid, he seems like he would make a great coach.

After 6 years at LSU with multiple degrees he isn't a "kid". Hope he gets a chance in the NFL or works into coaching at the college level.

Congratulations to both of these 2 Tigers, this is what COMMITMENT means, a seemingly meaningless word since nil invaded college football.

I think Josh Williams best play at LSU was the 3rd down conversion against Bama in 2022. Next play Taylor TD to go up 24-21.

Unfortunately, LSU still has players that believe they are far more important than their teammates or the program. These guys don’t fit that mold and refuse to quit on their team. It is what it is but sad at the same time.
