LSU quarterback Myles Brennan tweeted out the following message after his arm surgery on Tuesday.

LSU announced Brennan's injury on Monday night but did not explain how it happened. Head coach Ed Orgeron was on Baton Rouge radio Tuesday morning and also did not elaborate on the injury or give a timeline for Brennan's return.

Orgeron did announce that Max Johnson will be LSU's starting quarterback.

I thought non emergency surgeries were put on hold due to covid patients filling up hospitals.

A broken humerus is considered urgent if not emergent depending on circumstance.

It does look bad when allegedly a cancer patient needed a surgery and couldn't get it and now the cancer is terminal

You idiots posting about how this injury occurred really don’t know shite about what happened yet you’ll post this BS ridiculing a good Tiger who’s been dedicated to us for 5 years. You people really are a miserable bunch and everyone knows it but I’ll keep saying it to make sure they do!

Hate this for Myles but there was no way he make it thru SEC schedule without getting hurt. Just injury prone with freak accidents

Feel so bad for the young man. But, he has cemented his legacy as a great Tiger. A lot to teach and be learned about his perseverance.

"...he has cemented his legacy as a great Tiger" ...look, he displayed toughness playing til the end in the Missouri game, but "legacy as a great Tiger" is quite a stretch.

Is the “cause of injury” still in the Spin Department? Peace and fast healing Myles.

Is the “cause of injury” still in the Spin Department?... the homers are circling the wagons, but it's very strange that we're not getting any details about what occurred. If this happened to a Bama QB, this board would be screaming that the guy was doing something stupid and the Bama administration was in full spin mode. But not here.
