Junior reserve quarterback Caleb Lewis will be transferring from LSU after he graduates in December. The move was expected as the Lakeland, Fla native participated in Senior Day activities prior to the Texas A&M game last Saturday.

It is unknown at this time as to where Lewis will end his collegiate career.

Best of luck to you Caleb.

He could go to USF and play for Charlie Strong. Their starter is a senior and USF is 40 miles from his home.

Wishing you much success in your future endeavors. Too bad you never had a real chance to see action with LSU.

The man can say he played football at the Louisiana State University, and he got a degree as well. If he really has 2 more years of eligibility, he can possibly go to Grad school completely for free. Caleb Lewis is officially winning at life.

Hope he can transfer to a school like ULM, or maybe even Mcneese or some where he can have a realistic chance to compete for the starting role. With that size, 6'4 225, I know there's plenty of smaller schools who would kill to have him lead their offense. Best of luck!

If he can parlay this into a free graduate degree at a school like Rice, he just won life.

I wish I could just say congrats to this excellent young man! In fact, I wish we all could just do that. But, instead, some LSU "fans" have to show how much of an arse they are.

Lifetime dream of being a Tiger and now graduate from LSU with two years left... go out and " JUST DO IT" as you were a faithful Tiger thru the Les lean QB years

And hope you get to play two successful years in NCAA all and get recognition as an ex-Tiger QB who finally made good as a qualtiy QB

I hope this young man finds someplace to get meaningful playing time - this is the way you do things. Job done in classroom & hours put in with the team... his physical skills should match up with somebody at some level to finish up.

I’m going to miss seeing him not wearing the headset and sending in signals from the sideline...

Good kid from a good family. He can play some ball if given a chance. The timing of his arrival just didn't work out for him.
