LSU running back Armoni Goodwin announced Monday that he plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal.

Goodwin, a junior from Birmingham, Ala., did not play this season after coming off a knee injury that ended his sophomore season early.

During his sophomore campaign in 2022, Goodwin rushed for 267 yards on 45 carries, averaging 5.9 yards a carry, and scored five touchdowns.

He is good and got overlooked but maybe the explosion was affected by the injury. Hopefully he finds a place to showcase his skills

Deion "Select" Sanders could use him. I say, "Armoni, do not be used."

I got to see him play in high school and was ecstatic when LSU was able to pull him away from the gumps and auby. He is a great kid and it really sucks that it didn’t work out for him. Armoni thank you for being a Tiger and good luck sir. We all wish you the best and know that you will succeed wherever life takes you.

I hope he stays in state and lights it up for a team that otherwise never would have had a shot at landing him.

Good luck to this young man wherever he lands. Never was able to stay healthy here and got behind on the deep depth chart. All the best to Armoni with his future team.

I think everyone saw this coming. Hope he gets healthy and has success wherever he ends up, possibly Auburn. Hate it he had so many injuries.

Thought he was a really nice RB. It's a shame it didn't work out and that he had to deal with all those injuries. Definitely did all he could to represent LSU the best he could.

Wish that kid nothing but the best and hope it all works out for him.

This is the right choice for him. I think he's an explosive back that can make an impact at another program. Good luck, Armoni!

I don't blame him. Dumb af that he barely saw any playing time this year. He's a physical back and he has great breakaway speed.

Who did you want to take carries away from to make that happen?
