Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports
LSU head coach Les Miles addressed the media after Saturday's scrimmage and had some positive updates about the quarterbacks.

Miles said that Brandon Harris went 16/20 for 246 yards, Danny Etling was 14/18 for 220 yards and Justin McMillan was 11/14 and 226 yards. Miles did not say which QB's threw touchdowns passes but said that Derrick Dillon, Derrius Guice, and Jacory Washington all caught touchdowns.

The scrimmage was 100-plus plays.

I'll say this for sure (I was there for the scrimmage) the D-Line looks nasty. Harris dropped in some dimes on some deep routes. Fournette came out early because he got popped one good time. Etling looked good. But I was honestly a bit surprised at how much better Harris looks behind the pocket. I know it's only a scrimmage but I did see some improvements.

It's so aggravating hearing every year how great and improved our QB play will be in the spring then the season starts and we are ranked 117th in passing sporting that 49% completion rating....... Here we go again

"we are ranked 117th in passing sporting that 49% completion rating" Except that last year we were around 105th in passing yards and completed 55% of our passes? I get the frustration. But let's not just make things up to make them seem worse.

Whats even more confusing about lsu lack of tight end production, is the fact that lsu has a tight end coach that it pays $300,000 per year. What the hail is he getting paid to do? And why dont tight ends fall under the receivers coach or line coach if they will only be used to block?

The lack of the tight end in the passing game has been perplexing

This happens every spring. "Brandon had a great scrimmage today, he passed for 400 yards for 6 TD's, and added another 250 rushing. He also returned a punt, improved his credit score, and saved a kitten out of a tree" -Les Miles on today's "closed" scrimmage

So does This mean the defense sucks? I am joking, of course. That's good that all three qb's have great completion percentages. If we can throw for 225 a game, we will be tough to beat

Were there any 5 and 7 yard pass completions. Not impressed with 35 and 50 yard catches.

"I don't know if we've had a scrimmage where we've had three quarterbacks play as well as they did today." Under you? I can guarantee we haven't.
