LSU (5-3, 2-3 SEC) returns from the bye week against No. 4 Alabama (7-1, 5-0 SEC) on Saturday in Tuscaloosa. Kickoff is at 6:30 on ABC.

The Tigers are currently 11.5-point underdogs vs. the Crimson Tide. The over/under is 50.5.

LSU is coming off back-to-back losses to Vanderbilt and Texas A&M, while Alabama has not lost a game since its season opener vs. Florida State.

Saturday's matchup will be LSU's first game since Brian Kelly was fired, with Frank Wilson serving as the interim head coach.

Wilson will address the media on Monday at noon to preview Saturday's game and provide updates on the team.

This will be LSU’s Super Bowl.

Not that it matters, but if Frank was able to find a portion of the offensive playbook that can ruffle some feathers that the old staff was too stubborn to play, they may be able to pull a rabbit from the hat being such a rivalry game and emotions. And the fact that Ba would not have seen what some new LSU offense with Van Buren wrinkles may have in a new playbook. Maybe I’m wishful thinking, but don’t count out the tigers in this one. I only Say that because KELLY IS GONE, if he were still the HC, I’d say we lose by 20 or more.

Maybe the team rally’s, and maybe they expand the offense with the backup and also have to throw deep balls every series with Gus. We have a 6’7” Megatron, just play 3 flies in and see what happens

Nothing to lose. Got rid of some bad frustration. Tigers play on fire. If we not going to playoff then you are not either. Give me LSU by 1

As a Bama fan, no thanks! Thankfully for Bama the game is in Tuscaloosa but this game has a bad vibe. LSU has nothing to lose with an interim coach and no one expects them to win. Rivalry game.

Bama wins. No OL, or offense. Should see MVB some. Defense may keep it close a while, then Bama pulls away. Probably a 34-17 or 34-20 game.

You think we can score 20 points?

I would be fine with a bama 11-point win. It will be interesting to see how the team responds to the interim coach.

I look for Bama to cover the spread easily.

The oddsmakers have been pretty accurate on LSU this season. Doesn't look good for the tigers this weekend
