I like the start but we need to get better on both sides of the line or we’re going to get taught a bad lesson in the SEC.

LSU is looking just like I expected them to look,..... real good. I expected to see an offense that was more open than it’s been since 2001. The defense is as powerful as I expected and with those lock down corners Aranda can load the LOS. I said before the season I gave LSU and Bama equal shots at going to Atlanta and many laughed at me.

We need more pressure up front on defense. We didn’t get to qb at all with our front four.

Networks sell advertisements and ranked teams draw the contract dollars. Notice how ESPN was still selling Syracuse as a ranked team? Happens every week.

Texas should not have dropped out of the top 10. Utah, Michigan and Florida have no legitimate claim on being superior to Texas who played damn well in a loss to a top 5 team.

Texas did fall out of the top 10 in the poll that matters. They should have fell further tho. Had LSU loss that game, they would have free called to at least 15th!

These polls shouldn’t come out until mid season.

Michigan should have dropped out of the top 15. They're always overrated on a yearly basis. The national media wants them to be good so bad they can hardly stand it but it just never happens. Notre Dame is pretty much the same story on a year to year basis.

Clemson is #1 until they lose, or stink one up really bad. 2-6? I could see LSU #3.

Pre conceived notions of who is “supposed” to be good. Right now, I see LSU #1, based off of who we played, Clemson a close 2 beating Aggie, and Maryland 3, for running up the score on their opponents in dominant fashion.

You nailed it. Bama, OK, UGA haven’t played anyone. Sure they’re good but isn’t this supposed to be about what they’ve done.

These polls don’t matter, we win we are in. With that said. AL has proven very little this year based who they have played. Teams that take a risk and play other quality teams early do not benefit from it. But it’s what good for College Football. Texas was a quality opponent, they fall while AL stays at two for playing a team not much more than a JUCO team.

7-10 are not top 10 caliber teams.Texas would beat all of them.

Michigan has been running from top SEC teams for years! They following the same blueprint USC did in the mid 2000s. Harbaugh knows he safe talking from a distance!
